Best USB controller for Mac

Hey everyone. I'm considering purchasing a controller so I can play the games on this site. I wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions. Is there a particular controller that everyone uses here? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

WAIT!

read How to play on each game, you don't need a controller, and you can use one.

Several approaches / methods

Several approaches / methods :

1. Get  an XBOX360 controller. It is right now the only controller supported. Support is not perfect, please note that before buying.

2. Read the "sticky" tutorial How to play with PS3 Controller on Mac. It's pretty well documented and probably one of the best two options for Mac users. Maybe yoiu already own one ?

3. Get some cheap "RetroLink" controllers mimicking original Sega, Nintendo controllers, and use Joy2Key, XPadder, ControlMK or any similar software to "map" the controller to buttons.

I use the ps3 controller

I use the ps3 controller myself and it works flawlessly with my mac. Plus with the software you can fully customize it to your liking.
