Released by Sega in 1990, A.B. Cop is a futuristic 3D racing arcade game with similar gameplay to Chase HQ. The player controls a cop riding an air bike who must chase down and destroy the perpetrators of an armed robbery before the time limit expires. A.B. Cop is hugely reminiscent of Taito's superb racing legend, "Chase HQ" and introduced an element new to the racing genre: the end-of-level guardian.
